Bio

Silvia Martina provides litigation and out-of-court legal advice to leading Italian and international clients, both individuals and corporate entities. She has developed significant experience across the full spectrum of white-collar criminal law, with particular focus on corporate, tax and customs, insolvency, and environmental offenses, as well as workplace health and safety and crimes against the Public Administration.She also has extensive expertise in advising companies involved in proceedings concerning corporate criminal liability under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, as well as in corporate compliance activities, with a particular focus on the prevention and mitigation of criminal risks. In this context, she assists with the drafting and updating of Organizational and Management Models and serves as a member of Supervisory Bodies (Organismi di Vigilanza).

Silvia regularly conducts internal investigations, including pre-emptive defensive investigations, and manages whistleblowing reports.She has also gained substantial experience advising film production companies in the development of television series and films based on real criminal cases. Her integrated approach aims to mitigate legal risks associated with the artistic adaptation of real events, while ensuring maximum creative freedom.

Silvia Martina graduated with honors from the University of Milan in 2016, was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2018, and is a member of the Milan Bar Association.She serves as Secretary of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the International Bar Association, is a member of the Italian Association for Transparency and Anti-Corruption, and is also a member and Secretary of the Criminal Justice Commission of the Milan Bar Association. A former teaching assistant in Advanced Criminal Procedure at the University of Milan, she is the author of several publications and regularly speaks at conferences in Italy and abroad on white-collar crime, anti-corruption, compliance, and artificial intelligence. She is annually invited to speak at the New York City Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Tax Section.
